Flora AR is an Augmented Reality Flower Experience. Flora AR encourages users to get outside and explore their world by “planting” virtual flowers with personal messages to share with other users.

A unique feature of “Flora AR” is its digital “bluebonnets” designed by Texan native Marc Montoya. Special digital bluebonnets fields and bluebonnet patches are geolocated at the City of Austins Art in Public Places Locations, The Capitol & The Alamo which can be discovered using the app.

Tips:
- You can only add a flower if you add a message.
- Move around and plant more flowers in different locations. Best to place flowers at least a meter apart.
- Once you "plant" a flower its there. There is no deleting of flowers.
- Best to add flowers in different locations but if you plant multiple flowers in the exact same location, they may stack on top of one another.
*Please note: Computers and appliances with large motors like refrigerators may alter the calibration / compass on your phone. Stand away from machines and computers to calibrate properly. Flora AR works best when used outdoors.
